1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 3 eggs 1 can (21 oz.) Wilderness cherry fruit filling Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry fruit filling. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched. |

Cherry Chocolate Cake
Over 10 years ago, my roommate's mom was in town and she made us a cherry chocolate cake. Ever since then, I've loved this tasty treat. A few night's ago, I decided to mix up a batch of this simple batter. I always add half a bag of chocolate chips. Rich & wonderful.

This is one of my favorites! I've done it many times as a dutch oven cobbler. I sometimes add a splash of almond extract too.
Only Michele could make it so darling...I am going to have to copy.
