Cherry Chocolate Cake

Over 10 years ago, my roommate's mom was in town and she made us a cherry chocolate cake. Ever since then, I've loved this tasty treat. A few night's ago, I decided to mix up a batch of this simple batter. I always add half a bag of chocolate chips. Rich & wonderful.
CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1 can (21 oz.) Wilderness cherry fruit filling
Combine cake mix, eggs and cherry fruit filling. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until cake springs back when lightly touched.

This is one of my favorites! I've done it many times as a dutch oven cobbler. I sometimes add a splash of almond extract too.
