Cupcakin' It

I made chocolate chip cheesecake filled chocolate cupcakes today. The best part? The buttercream frosting. It's the recipe they use on Sprinkles famous cupcakes.

1 cup unsalted butter
3 1/5 cups powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. milk

Blend butter, sugar, and salt in mixer. Add vanilla and milk and beat for 3-5 minutes. Oh, my heavenly sweetness. Perhaps the best frosting I've ever made.

Just tried this icing out today. It was great. I never new a butter/powered sugar/vanilla/milk recipe could be this good. I guess the trick is upping the butter...dramatically!
