Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies

These oatmeal cookies somehow stay fresh longer than my other oatmeal cookie recipe, and I love the cranberries in them for a change from raisins.

Cream together the following:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs

Sift together than add to creamed mixture:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups oatmeal

Add as much of the following as you wish:
raisins, Craisins, chocolate chips or white chocolate

Bake on parchment-lined cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
